Shortly after hitting 50,000 subscribers about 1 1/2 month after uploading her first video, she was featured in a video about gaming by PewDiePie. Taylor's Youtube channel reached 100,000 subscribers within 2 years. Taylor ceased to produce videos and uploaded them to private. She cited technical difficulties, brand new equipment issues, and also she became overwhelmed by the attention she received from her fans. After a lengthy period of time, Taylor began producing new videos. Taylor created the cult ASMR ten triggers to aid in sleeping (35 millions views by the end of August in 2022). The YouTuber posted ASMR 20 triggers designed to assist you in your sleep on July 2017. (38 million views as of August 2022). In August 2017, she appeared interviewed in Shane Dawson's video. Shortly after, she was able to reach one million YouTube subscribers. Wired UK calculated that she was earning $1,000 a daily on her YouTube Channel in February 2019.

Dennis Helfer, a Canadian farmer, and Elaine Helfer, a Canadian woman was her mother. Her parents are of German, English, Swedish and Norwegian heritage. She was a student at William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler, Alberta. With the help of her sisters Trena Tammy Tara She resided as a farm worker on the farm owned by her family. She was 17 when the agent of her modeling agency spotted the model while waiting in line at a theater.
